Wellbeing Runners

Beginners:

This 6 week women’s run/walk class will meet once a week. It is perfect for complete novices and/or women trying to get back into running after childbirth. Participants do not need any previous running experience, but if newly post partum, you will need to have your post birth check first.

During the 1 hour sessions you will not only improve your cardiovascular health and flexibility, but you will learn running and stretching tips and tricks. If you’ve always wanted to give running a try but didn’t know where to start, then this group is perfect for you.

Each 1 hour session will include:

  • 5 minute warm up walk
  • Dynamic stretching
  • 25-30 minute run/walk
  • 5 minute cool down walk
  • Static stretching

(will come off total price if you sign up on the day)

Intermediate:

This 6 week running class is perfect for more seasoned runners, or women who have completed the Wellbeing Runners beginning class. Participants must be able to run 2 miles without walking. This class will meet once a week and is aimed at improving runners’ distance and time. Whether you want to train for a race, or just improve your overall health, this group is for you.

Each 1 hour session will include:

  • 5 minute warm up walk
  • Dynamic stretching
  • 30-40 minute run
  • 5 minute cool down walk
  • Static stretching

Wellbeing Runners +

A fantastic package that includes the beginner or intermediate class as well as extra workouts, accountability and support. If you are looking to really improve your running and become a part of a community of women, then this is for you.

Wellbeing Runners + includes:

  • A 1 hour group session per week
  • 2 extra prescribed runs/walks to do on your own
  • At least 1 healthy recipe per week
  • 1 body weight workout for strength and flexibility to do at home each week
  • Health tips
  • Private FB group for accountability, questions and sharing
