Holistic Core Restore® Everywoman Small Group Course

Holistic Core Restore® Everywoman is a comprehensive 6 to 12 week foundation programme designed for all women at all stages of their life. From pregnancy, through to post natal; or for those who are now entering the peri to post menopause life phase, anyone who wants to learn more about their pelvic floor, core and nutrition alongside building a functional exercise program, is welcome.

Wellbeing Physiotherapy is a provider of the revolutionary Holistic Core Restore ® Pelvic Health restorative wellness programmes.

The Holistic Core Restore® programmes were created for Women who are ready to take charge of not only their Pelvic and Core Health but also their total wellbeing.  Women who are ready to invest in preventative strategies and deep restorative strategies as they go through their life phases knowing that ‘self-care’ is the greatest gift any woman can give to herself.

Holistic Core Restore® Everywoman

A UNIQUE AND GROUND-BREAKING 6 Week ‘Every Woman’ programme truly is a gift that keeps giving and one that EVERY WOMAN should give herself at least once in her lifetime!  Enjoy 6 weeks of foundation education regarding your Pelvic Floor, Core, Nutrition and women’s fitness/wellness at whatever life phase you’re in.  The programme is adaptable for virtually all women and is designed to ‘bring you back home’ to your amazing body with your Pelvic and Core Health at the centre of our focus.

Who Is This Programme For?

  • Are you a woman who wants to know more about her Pelvic Floor, Core and overall health?
  • Are you a woman that wants an easy to perform ANYWHERE, modern and effective way to strengthen her Core and re-establish its role as part of her whole body?
  • Are you ready to prioritise this area of your health and learn ESSENTIAL skills to last you a lifetime?
  • Have you seen a clinician about a low level Prolapse/Incontinence and been told to ‘do your Pelvic Floor exercises’ as part of your management strategy?
  • Are you ready to learn the importance of ‘rest’ and ‘self-care’ as part of your wellness journey?

What the Programme Includes?

  • This programme runs for 6 weeks (phase 1) and you will meet with me once per week for an hour for the first 6 weeks and complete your online homework, which is approximately 10 mins in duration, guided by Jenny Burrell, the programme creator, a further 2-3 times throughout your week.
  • The Homework exercises are progressed and so over the course of the 6 weeks, as your strength and co-ordination improves, the exercises will become more challenging.
  • You can follow this programme either live or via Skype, and as part of a small group of women or 1-1 with your coach.
  • There is an optional further 6 weeks programme (phase 2) delivered online to be completed in your own time with support.  Please discuss with Catherine if would like to continue.

Holistic Core Restore® Everywoman – Personal Training Package

This popular pelvic floor and core strengthening programme is now available as a one to one personal wellness and training package.

  • It follows all the same principles as the course above, however being offered as a 12 week programme.
  • You will also be booked in for a 1-1 initial consultation for 1.5 hours initially where you’ll be taken through a hands-on assessment which includes tests for your pelvic floor and core function so that we know where you are on your recovery journey and that the programme can truly be tailored to your needs.
  • Bespoke programme- Can be in your home environment or in a studio one to one.

Holistic Core Restore® Diastasis

Improve your belly, rid yourself of back pain, reconnect to your Pelvic Floor so that you both FEEL and FUNCTION better.

Who Is This Programme For?

  • Have you experienced the odd leak when jumping, running, laughing or sneezing and know that that’s a sign that you need to take control of your Pelvic Health?
  • Do you have a small Rectus Diastasis (Tummy Gap) that you want to heal?
  • Do you have ‘lower back pain’ issues that you’ve been told is due to a ‘weak Core’?
  • Do you want a better-looking belly but know it’s an inside out job so need to go deeper and work smarter than just doing ‘sit-ups’?

What Does The Programme Include? 

  • Full Pre-Screening documentation form to qualify you for the program
  • 1 x 1.5hour Hands on Screening with functional assessment/tummy check
  • 3x 1hour Bespoke Sessions selected for you based on your assessment
  • 1 x 1hour Release/Myofascial Session
  • Resources / Blogs / Wellness Advice
  • Each phase will take approximately 1 month, sometimes less, sometimes a little more.  But you will be coached in ‘self-care’ strategies also for your Core and Pelvic Health for life.
  • You’re provided with all the exercise kit you need and a 28-page educational booklet to help you really understand the process and the facts about Diastasis.
  • The programme has a strong focus on NUTRITION! We heal from the INSIDE OUT!
  • We employ ‘CAN DO’ strategies for helping you REST and DE-STRESS.  The high cortisol levels associated with the Post Natal period also retard healing and cause you to hold fat around your middle. This programme helps you to help yourself to not only a better looking belly but one that FUNCTIONS and supports your Pelvic, Core and overall health.
    Your-self commitment: 4/5 months of full participation, gaps between appointments will vary depending on progress & availability

Holistic Core Restore® Rel(ease)

Let’s RELEASE AND RE-ALIGN! This programme will change FOREVER how you feel about ‘stretching’……

Release’ is an ESSENTIAL part of any woman’s self-care toolbox.  Simple techniques are used to ‘release’ muscular tension including self-massage, dynamic stretches, and taking movements from the Yoga and Pilate disciplines.

Who Is This Programme For?

  • Are you experiencing aches and pains, particularly in the lower back area, that you believe are a result of poor posture?
  • Do you want to move more freely and without restriction?
  • Do you want to feel nurtured and pay respect to your body?

What Does The Programme Include? 

  • The programme runs for 4 weeks and to achieve optimal outcome  you are expected to attend each class.
  • Only 5 places available. £65.00 per workshop.

Holistic Core Restore® Recovery+

HCR Recovery is for women recovering from a Hysterectomy. It is also for women who are either living Pelvic Organ Prolapse or recovering from POP surgery and know they need to return to a ‘moving life’ but want to do so in a way that is respectful to their new ‘health status’.

Who Is This Programme For?

  • The HCR Recovery programme truly ‘has your back’ and will guide and support you safely in your return to an active life. Ultimately, NOT MOVING isn’t an option but learning to move in a way that’s support to your new and ongoing Pelvic Health status is ESSENTIAL to your current and future health, independence and freedom.
  • HCR Recovery isn’t a ‘fitness programme’. We have truly re-imagined what it is to truly be supported post POP or Hysterectomy Surgery or be support in your life with a POP Diagnosis.
  • Catherine is a physiotherapist and so if you have scar tissue that is part of your Dysfunction story, she is highly skilled at alleviating the adhesions and sense of ‘stuckness’ that sometimes goes hand in hand with abdominal surgeries.

What Does The Programme Include? 

  • You’ll meet with Catherine and go through a hands-on Pre-Screening which includes tests for your Core function so that we know where you are on your recovery journey and the programme can truly be tailored to your needs.
  • This programme may include additional Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy sessions to enhance and support your recovery.
  • You’ll then be all set to attend for your first session where you’ll receive your HCR Client Education Booklet and the items of fitness kit required for the course.
  • You’ll receive your login details for the HCR Online Platform especially dedicated to the RECOVERY PROGRAMME via email which will allow you to log in and view your additional filmed homework and healing education film and colour recipe booklet.
  • This programme runs for 6-8 weeks and you will meet with your Coach a minimum of once per week and complete your online homework, which is approximately 10 mins in duration, guided by Jenny Burrell, the programme creator, a further 3-4 times throughout your week.
  • The Homework exercises are progressed and so over the course of the 6-8 weeks, as your strength and co-ordination improve, the exercises will become more challenging.
  • You can follow this programme either live or via Skype, and as part of a small group of women or 1-1 with your coach.

Holistic Core Restore® C-Section

C-Section Recovery is challenging for many women and a deeper approach is required to ensure that their recovery is truly an inside-out affair. Just like the Diastasis Recti client, there needs to be a deep assessment of the woman’s core strength and connection and then a programme involving hands on massage therapies, nutrition, scar tissue release, postural re-alignment work before we finally get to the  ‘core restoring’ exercise part of the puzzle. C-Section moms simply need more help and the HCR Coaches are deeply trained to assist you in your deep recovery and return to awesome, fully functional abdominals.

Who Is This Programme For?

  • Do you feel disconnect to your tummy and Pelvic Floor since your C-Section?
  • Do you have a painful or uncomfortable C-Section scar that you want to free?
  • Does your scar hurt after any lifting or an exercise session?
  • Have you noticed a change in your bowel movements since your C-Section?
  • Do you have ‘lower back pain’ issues that you’ve been told is due to a ‘weak Core’?

  • This programme may involve abdominal soft tissue massage if necessary to combat possible scar tissue/adhesions associated with the C-Section Procedure.
  • The programme starts by getting the basics of posture and alignment improved including soft-tissue work/recovery massage and to bring balance to your entire body.
  • You’re provided with all the exercise kit you need and a 28-page educational booklet to help you really understand the process and the facts about Holistic restoration of Core function.
